Ram calls off Pihus wedding in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain

From the precaps and promos of last week, it was evident that this week, the audience was all set to witness grand wedding preparations of Pihu and Mandeep. However, the events, all of a sudden, took a U-turn and we witnessed sour relations and alliances being called off!

With last night's episode, where Ram called off the engagement and also Mandeep accused Pihu of cheating on him and being a characterless girl, things broke quite easily. Ram was shown to be a little skeptical about the alliance a little, especially when the fake jewellery episode happened with the groom's parents. Still he had kept quite because Mandeep had convinced him that he wanted to marry Pihu, only because he loved her and not because of some inheritance.

Not fully convinced though, Ram had little choice of thinking. He gave in reluctantly, but only to be relieved later. In the function, while everyone was busy merry making and dancing to some raunchy Hindi film songs, Mandeep is suddenly met by a friend, who says something to him, while pointing at Pihu. Well, it turns out a huge level of gossip about the bride, stating that she was commitment phobic' and a party animal, who loved toying with the idea of marriage because she was into dating 5 men at the same time!

Now this level of accusation shocked all, including Pihu, but the man most affected by this level of comment was Ram. He immediately called the marriage off, without blinking. Satisfied deep down, he was shown to heave a sigh a relief as he did not want his promise to Priya to get broken. After all, he had promised her that he will look after Pihu and marry her off into a good family.

While things are relatively better for his daughter, not much can be said about Ram. The precap for the forthcoming episode shows Ram stating that Rajiv's case is strong. While Juhi, shows the urge to get married soon, creating a question mark in the minds of the audience, Ram says he will have to either divorce Priya, which he doesn't want to do or he has another option.

With so much thrills and adrenaline rush situations, I'm sure you all are eager to know what the second option will turn into. Stay tuned to watch the next episode, when Ram voices out his options and decides on with his life.
