Television's most wanted actor Ram Kapoor rubbishes reports that he would be re-uniting with his wife Gautami in a new serial entitled Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi on Zee Television.
According to sources the makers (Esselvision) of the serial were very keen to cast the saleable Ram Kapoor opposite his wife who is making a comeback of sorts.
"But Ram is completely tied up with Ekta Kapoor's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. And the little time that he gets off from shooting the serial he wants to devote to building his career in cinema. Ram has a triple role in Sajid Khan'sHumshakals and Ram is working on giving all the three characters a distinctive profile because he needs to match up his comic timing with his co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh."
Apparently every effort was on to accommodate Gautami's serial. But now Ram will only make a token appearance in his wife's serial.
Confirming this Ram says, "No no, I am not acting opposite her again. She's just started a serial on Zee. I might do a one-scene cameo with her in that serial, just for good luck."
Ram says he has no time for more work. "I don't have time for another serial. I am doing a number of films that require optimum time and attention from me. As things stand, my schedules barely allow me time for Balaji's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain."
