Ekta Kapoor, Balaji Telefilms and Sony have done it.👍🏼

Finally, despite the rubbish we have seen thrown at us many times via the script, RaYa are parents to 3 GIRLS.
👏

Well done to the team for showing this, especially after in many serials it has been shown after having a girl - the next child is a boy. This was noticeable in KHTV, after two girls the third child was a boy.

Another first on Indian television?😊

HOPE EKTA MAKES THESE GIRLS WISE REPRESENTATIVES
OF FEMALES !!!

Some bits adapted from Yeats' poem, "A Prayer for My Daughter":

May they be granted beauty and yet not

Beauty to make a stranger's eye distraught,

Or their own before a looking-glass, for such,

Being made beautiful overmuch,

Consider beauty a sufficient end,

Lose natural kindness and maybe

The heart-revealing intimacy

That chooses right, and never find a friend.

In courtesy I'd have them chiefly learned;

Hearts are not had as a gift but hearts are earned

By those that are not entirely beautiful;

Yet many, that have played the fool

For beauty's very self, has charm made wise,

And many a poor man that has roved,

Loved and thought himself beloved,

From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes

Yep, after several regressive and misogynist things shown for years in their serials, Ekta & Balaji have redeemed themselves by showing three daughters for RaYa 👏

Deserves a double (or triple ?) thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼

Not just in this serial, but in other serials too, I have seen that in these forums, members predominantly place a demand/desire for a male child when the lead characters are pregnant. Can't help it, I guess, years and years of regressive mentality and conditioning won't change overnight. Good to see that instead of fueling it, Ekta is bucking the trend. Good for her and good for the viewers.

Now, if only she shows these girls growing up to be achievers in some way, rather than showing romance and marriage as the be all and end all of their lives (just objects for fulfilling "kanyaadaan" 😕) or showing them as extremely spoilt rich girls getting into trouble.

Good Post.

It would be nice if Ekta could manage to show these girl children being raised in a loving but non-sexist way.

To be sculptors, atomic physicists, mountain-climbers or zoo-keepers if they want to be.
To love whom they want to, and to have the freedom to take the initiative to express their love.
To determine their life styles - live in fab tree habs, take up deep-sea diving as a hobby...

WAY TO GO EKTA!

Agreed with all of you above Balaji and Ekta and the girl child.

But I suspect there is another motive to the all girls scenario.I hope I am wrong and we don't see a KASAM se scenario unfold in the next few months. Ekta"s time and test formula of playing sister against sister is very common.

Going by some of the ups and downs and twists and turns of BALH,
I FEAR YOU MAY BE RIGHT!
Perhaps we are all being naive in congratulating Ekta so soon...

I hope I am wrong. And Ekta does give us a fine example of SISTERLY love than fighting for SISTER"S LOVE.

That truly will be the end of BALH for me...
