Names like Ali Asgar, Upasana Singh, Sunil Grover and Sumona Chakravarti have joined Kapil Sharma in Comedy Nights. The show, loosely based on the British comedy 'The Kumars At No. 42', will be a unique take on everyday life.
The show will see Kapil having an in-house studio, which will have a celebrity coming in every week who will be interviewed by Kapil's family — his wife, played by Sumona Chakravarti. While Upasana Singh will play the eccentric bua, Sunil Grover will be donning several avatars throughout the series. Ali Asgar, who is an expert in sporting a lady's garb, will now take on the role of Kapil's grandmother, dadiji.
