What was your first encounter with the daayans like?

I first met the daayan in my tauji's (uncle) spooky
story set in a haunted haveli (mansion). She's combing out her long hair by uprooting her head and placing it carefully on the table. (Shivers) That image still scares the hell out of me!

How would you react if you ever met a daayan in real life?

I'd die! I am a practical person and I like to reason things out to their logical conclusion. So anything like a daayan would put me off the track.

Which is the one place you are too scared to go alone?

It has to be my hometown Alwar in Rajasthan. I've heard horror stories about it since I was a child. Also,
it's filled with crawling chipkalis (lizards) and gives me the creeps.

With so many horror stories on TV already, how successful will this series be as a promotional gimmick for Ek Thi Daayan?

Well, it's definitely aimed at building up the hype around Ekta's much-awaited film and is a wellplanned and meticulously executed series. I'm pretty sure the audience will love the concept.
