Re-posting/Double posting Issues + KBC Threads

Hello everyone

In the past few weeks I've noticed that we've developed this habit of re-posting/double posting articles OR editing older posts with newer articles to by-pass the whole "who posted it first" deal.

PLEASE understand that if you are intending to post an ALL INCLUSIVE thread that contains all the promos/articles about a certain thing, that you clarify that right from the start. Do NOT start of with posting one article/promo on Day 1 and then two days later realize there is a newer promo on the same thing posted by someone else and therefore you edit that into your previous thread. It is extremely unfair to the member that does in fact post that new thread because when they posted the promo, no one else had posted it but if you edit your older thread with the newer information later than their thread gets ignored. So if you are going to make a general all inclusive thread for ALL promos, please indicate from the very first day you post it so that any member who comes across a newer promo later is aware that an all inclusive thread already exists.


That being said, I would also like to request all members posting the newer promos to maybe include them in the already established thread for the older promos on the same content. Having 10 different threads for 10 different promos for the SAME THING divides discussion and honestly makes it difficult for members to keep track of the promos that have been made available and the discussion in all of those threads. This forum is a work of team effort and as such demands that all of us work together for the betterment of the forum! Members with the older topics need to be considerate of members posting newer material on the same issue and refrain from taking over that information without notice. And members posting newer content would help us out greatly if they continue posting that new content in the already established thread for the topic that contains the older promos/articles.

Example:

new promos for next week/Priya Neha/cusody case(older thread)

custody case promo(newer thread)

Looks like initially the older thread was just about a promo for Priya/Neha but once the promo for the custody case was posted later it was edited into the older thread an hour or so after it was posted by the TM for the newer thread. In such cases, I would suggest that maybe the older thread should have been established as a thread for all new promos right from day one and if it had in fact been established as such already that the TM for the new thread should have refrained from making a new thread all together to discussing a related promo.

And this brings me to the following case in point. The KBC promos, we have multiple different threads that have surfaced over a period of two days that are individually discussing the different promos made available to the audience. Would it not in fact be easier to post all these promos in the same thread and have the first post of that thread edited each time a new promo surfaces? Instead of us fighting over who gets to post the next promo, maybe it would have been helpful for the entire forum if everyone just went ahead with the first thread posted?

I'm compiling a list of all the promo threads in here and you're welcome to continue any future discussion regarding KBC in this thread or in one the threads archived below. Any new threads pertaining to ANY kind of KBC related discussion will be closed. I'm sure we have enough thread here already that can entertain all sorts of KBC related discussion in the foreseeable future.
