She obviously did it to get Ram jealous and give him a taste of his own medicine as you said Rams done the exact same with priya before but she realized that thats not her to do something like that.. I loved that scene not because Rajat and Priya were dancing together but because of the looks ram and priya were giving each other

Am new to the forum but am surprised by the narrowmindedness here. Whatever the case minus the fights over here i find this unnecesary vilification of priya on the basis of what happened totally uncalled for...

Ram was sick in his behaviour initially when he insulted priya by asking her if she was a guest !!! and then the way he talked in front of rajat and later with mona etc ...no man who's mature and dignified would insult anyone like that especially when he's hosting a party - and especially not a woman he loves...whatever jealousy be the cause - i find this totally undignified nd uncouth behaviour ...and i'm not talking about what he told priya here at all - that was fine , he was just telling her what he knew about the past ...and priya's reaction then was very natural because he said all that after misbehaving and it is quite inconcievable for her to even think of rajat in that way - if anything that shows how far removed rajat is in her head from even any such possibility ...

also i find it extremely narrow minded to criticise priya for dancing with rajat - she cant dance with anyone except ram??? even if she was his wife, since when can women not dance with men other than their husbands and lovers ?? she considers rajat to be a friend and whatever is in his mind , how can her dancing with him or his aslking for it be such a problem...she ws constantly in every conversation just thinking of ram - in every dialogue with mona and so on!!!!!!!!...ram can insult her, he can flaunt ayesha and then dance with anoushka in a fit of jealousy- all that is fine !!!

and if ram took the bullet for her, she also went to jail for him - thats love - she would have done the same for ram ...that had nothing to do with such childish criticism of her behaviour and turning a blind eye to all ram does!
