Recently rumors were rife around the nation that the actor might quit the show, Bade Acche Lagte Hainto dedicate his time to film. Ram was recently seen inAgent Vinod, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, Student of the Year and his upcoming film is Mere Dad Ki Maruti.
When sources got in touch with Ram, he revealed his equal emotion for television with films. He says, "Television has given me too much. I can never turn my back on it. It's just that the time has come for me to achieve in films. With television, I've already done that. Let's see how far I can go. A lot is happening in my life currently so I am trying to compartmentalize things".
Ram has had a very pleasant journey in both the screens, but when it comes to making a choice, he equally prefers both industries. He said, "What is life without risks? People tell me why are you leaving television for smaller roles in films? But you have got to go at your priorities with both your barrels. What if I make it, what if I don't? You can't have such thoughts. Because I did a small role in Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, Karan Johar offered me Student of The Year. Look at Irrfan Khan. He started with television and then took a sabbatical. He started with smaller roles and see where he is today! Some people just have the personality to take risks".
Ram is satisfied with his career and ventures which comes his way, he said, "Luckily, I am making the right career choices. I'm not going to quit anything forever. That's not my style. But you have to take a backseat with one medium for the other to take up!"
Television or the big screen, we love Ram Kapoor either way!
