Rahul's birthday party
Rahul's party greets various moods. A mean Ram tries to cut Priya down to size by insulting her wherever possible. He gives the credit of his speedy recovery to his second wife Ayesha in front of all the people to offend Priya. He even calls Peehu for a family photograph with Aayesha, badgering Priya's emotions badly.
A tearful Priya walks off and calls her old friend about the house she has rented out from her friend. Priya tells her friend that whenever she is in a better state of finances she will pay for the rent. Rajat overhears her conversation and smiles at the similar "financial state" of Priya in Dubai. Both Priya and Rajat share a mirthful moment.
Priya meets Khush for the first time and the little boy tells her Ram has spoken about her as "Priya angel", and that Ram always said that Priya is capable of making all things better. Priya hugs the boy close to her heart.
Peehu and Khush
Peehu introduces herself to Khush as his sister and offers him chocolates. The little Khush refuses the chocolate offering and then Peehu asks him if he relishes the "father-daughter" favorite meal, aloo parantha.
But Khush refutes saying he doesn't like aloo parantha. Peehu vehemently states that Khush cannot be her brother as he doesn't eat chocolates or aloo parantha. Khush then tells her that Peehu is his sister and will be living with them in Kapoor Mansion, leaving Peehu shocked.
Ram-Priya confrontation
The angry Ram asks Priya to quietly agree to send Peehu to the Kapoor's or else he will be forced to resort to judicial pressure by the way of custody papers to snatch Peehu away from her. With eyes overwhelmed with tears Priya egs him to reconsider the decision and find another way out of this predicament as Peehu is too small to face such a trauma in her life.
Ram and Natasha
Natasha stands upto Ram emotionally telling him he is being mean to Priya. A furious Ram reprimands her by saying that she is not behaving as his sister but as Priya's sister in law, walking off.
Rahul's party
As the birthday cake is unraveled, it shocks the people as it shows Neha's and Vikram's photograph with divorce splashed across. The cake delivery boy shockingly announces that he is Vikram's son and the reason for the divorce between Ram's two best friends. A miffed Vikram admits to the reality of the divorce in front of his whole family.
