TOI: Golu uncle is a smarty-Amrita-Pihu

Child actor Amrita Mukherjee popularly known as Pihu, is the new 'Cute and Chubby' entry in the world of daily soaps on television. Currently enjoying the limelight and attention she is getting from her viewers and co-stars on the set, Amrita plays Sakshi Tanwar's and Ram Kapoor's daughter on-screen.

Ask Amrita about the rapport she shares with her on-screen parents, and she expresses, "Sakshi aunty loves me a lot. Woh bahut saari story sunati hai," adding, "Golu (Ram) uncle is a smarty. He plays with me and keeps clicking my pictures."
Amrita is jovial and mischievous like any five-year-old, and enjoys acting, informs her mother Mrinmayee Mukherjee. Mrinmayee makes sure she strikes a balance between her studies and shooting schedule. "The atmosphere on the sets is very friendly and everyone keeps pampering her. We mostly shoot for four to five days in a week. If we reach the sets around 2.30 pm, we are there till 8pm and then I take her back home.The schedule is a little hectic, but I make sure she doesn't get stressed," shares her mom.
When she is not facing the camera, Amrita enjoys reading her fairytale books and is also learning bharatnatyam. According to her mother, Amrita is flooded with various movie and commercial offers, but they are going easy as they don't want to stress her much. Ask Amrita about this and she says, "Bahut sare offers aa rahe hai but I want to study."
So which actors are her favourite? She says, "I love Salman Khan and Sonakshi aunty inDabanng."
