Patrani means first wife or chief wife...when old age RA a maharaja do many marriages ...one or the first one will be patrani..

The one I read was novel ...named Patrani written by vimal mitra...story looks same like the novel...I don't know why they say it is based on imtiaz Patel play...which read two years ago...got from library...nice book...you guys also read it 😛
