Niharika was shocked. She just couldn't believe what she had just heard. Ram was going to divorce Priya? This was the happiest day of her life. Shiney felt like he should stay silent. His one move could spoil the entire game for them.
Theek hai Ram, main aaj hi papers ghar pe bhij waa doongi.
Lost in her own thoughts for a couple of minutes, she unknowingly smirked a little bit. Ram was watching her intently and noticed this. That was all he needed to tell him that his step-mother had been trying to ruin his marriage for the past few months. All the incidences when she had put Priya down came back to him like a light bolt.
Ram: Main choti se mil ke aata hoon
In Natasha's room
Natasha was just waking up. Ram entered the room and sat on a chair beside the bed. Natasha slowly opened her eyes and saw her brother sitting there.
Natasha: Bhai? Aap yahaan?
Ram: Kaisi ho Choti. Ab kaisa lag raha hai?
Natasha: Main theek hun bhai. Aap yahaan kaise? Priya kahan hai?
Ram: Pata nahin, aur mujhe jaan na bhi nahi hai ke woh kahaan hai. Maine maa se kehdiya hai ke woh divorce ke papers tayaar kare. Agar tumhari shaadi ab nahi rahi to meri shaadi to ek samjhauta hai tum dono ko khush karne ke liye to ab is shaadi ka kya faida.
Natasha was stunned at what she'd just heard. She'd seen the love for each other in Ram and Priya's eyes. And she could see the sadness in his eyes when he'd just said that right now. Her brother was going to sacrifice his love because of her? First he got married for her, and now he was going to get divorced for her.
Natasha: Bhai yeh aap kya keh rahe hain?
Ram: Kyun nibhaun is shaadi ko jab us ka bhai tere saath itna kuch kiya?
Natasha noticed out the window of the door that her mother was smiling and so was mamaji. A lightbulb went off in her head. After the Sid-Ayesha incident, she had a hunch that her mother was planning something. Her mother wasn't doing this to help her get out of the Sharmas house, she was doing this to break up Ram and Priya. Tears started rolling down her face as she realized what she'd done. She had accused Kartik of abusing her and now her Bhai was going to divorce her bhabhi because of all this too.
Ram: Choti, tu kyun ro rahi hai? Kya hua?
Natasha silent.
Ram(softly): Tu jaanti hai ke me hamesha tere saath hu na. Main jaanta hu ke Kartik ne yeh sab tere saath nahin kiya.
Natasha: shocked and still silent. After a minute she just totally breaks down and hugs Ram.
Ram: Natasha mujhe sach sach bata, yeh tera haal kisne kiya. Maine aaj yahaan aane se pehle Kartik se milne gaya tha. Us ne mujhe sab bata diya aur yeh bhi bataya ke woh tujhse kitna pyaar karta hai. Aur uski aankhon mein aansu aur tere liye pyaar dekh kar mujhe yakeen nahi hua ke who yeh tere saath kar sakta hai
Natasha still silent.
Ram: Natasha, tujhe Kartik ki kasam aur tum dono ki pyar ki kasam. Please mujhe bata tera yeh haal kis ne kiya.
Natasha couldn't argue with that one.
Natasha (almost whispering): Maa
Wait what? What did she just say? He wasn't sure if he heard right.
Ram: Kya?
Ram was shocked. He clenched his fists and anger flared in his eyes. He became almost tomato red from fury. He knew Niharika was trying to separate him and Priya but he never imagined she would hurt Natasha this way to do that?
Natasha: Haan bhai. Maa ne yeh sab aap aur Priya ko alag kar ne ke liye kiya.
And while sobbing, she tells him the entire story from Sudhir's medication to the fight, to going to Niharika and her slapping and beating her up and telling her to blame Kartik because that was the only way to get out of that house, to her realization of why her mother did this when he told her he was divorcing Priya and she saw her mother smiling and laughing outside the room.
Ram clenched his fist but remained calm. There was immense anger in his eyes but he knew he had to stay calm and act this out well. After a few minutes, his expression softened a little.
Ram: Choti please Kartik tujhse bahut pyaar karta hai. Tu us ke paas waapis chali jaa. Main jaanta hu ke tu us se bahut naraaz hai lekin please, meri khaatir us ke paas waapis chali jaa.
Natasha: Haan bhai. Main jaanti hu aur mein aap se vaada bhi karti hu ke main poori koshish karungi us ghar mein rehne ki. Lekin aap please Priya ko divorce mat dijiye. Main jaanti hoon aap dono ek dusre se bahut pyar karte hain.
Ram: Choti tu is sab mein mat par. Yeh mere aur Priya ke beech ki baat hai.
Natasha knew her brother would take the right decision and left it to him. Ram left from there.
Meanwhile at home, tears rolled down Priya's eyes after seeing Ram in that state. Ram had left the hospital and Niharika had blamed her for everything. She thought, she's right, it is all my fault. I was so busy being Priya Sharma, I forgot I was also Mrs. Priya Ram Kapoor. Ram needed me and I wasn't there for him. Papa was right. The thought of Ram being hurt made her heart ache. And it hurt even more to know that she was partially the cause of his pain. She felt tears sting her eyes again. She wiped her tears and thought No, I am going to fix this. Kartik is out of jail. Let Natasha get better and things cool down and then I will talk to Ram again and we can deal with this together. After they are both our families. But right now, he needs me more than Kartik does. I have to be here, with him, take care of him and comfort him. At that moment, someone knocks on the door of the room. Priya goes to open it and Bansi Kaka is standing there with an envelope in his hands. He tells her this came for her and hands her the envelope. Priya thanks him and shuts the door. She goes and sits on the chair and opens the envelope...
