😆😆 Lalita... Agree with u reg the heart attack, but lets not bring in other actors here.. 😃
Understanding TRP's is beyond my level too... But TRPs are calculated on the viewership levels.. As far as i know, They have some meter's fixed at homes which calcualate these..
One main issue with indian audience is, they love more drama, rona dhona, throwing out, physical abuse and all such crap but can't tolerate simple love story with light hearted scenes.. BALH doesn't have the drama factor in it still, may be if at all we get separation , there might be a high in TRPs.
Another fact is the time slot... Other shows in the top 5 are aired at a time where most viewers would be awake. BALH is a late night show and most ppl go to sleep by then and try to catch it online the next day. But BALH was doing well till Honeymoon track, but don't know y ppl lost interest after that.
Also if u notice, we have good shows like pratigya, Na bole .. and Punar vivah now at 10:30 which is giving a tough competition to BALH. Last week pratigya had high drama like the parents are thrown out of the house and the leading lady is gonna fight for them.. This is drama and ppl love to watch it and that's y shows like SNS, DABH, BV are all getting high TRPs where romance is less and drama is more.
The more we watch BALH on TV, the higher the TRPs. somehow i feel, after the C episode, many are hesitating to watch BALH on TV and end up watching it online
And one more thing, Sony has to learn to promote their shows like Star Plus.. watch Star plus once and u'll know what real promotion is... Sony has to buck up..
I really hope the TRPs increase the next time.. BALH is one of the best shows currently and it deserves to be in top 5.
