Lovely post Maris! Fab work!!! I saw this on phone n couldn't wait to get back to lappy to post my comment! My comment gonna be lengthy too!😛

I was thinking about changes Priya, every time I watched old episodes after monday! They are more evident now than ever!😳

Priya's body language- A transformation.

Understanding the Human's complex body language is infact quite simple.Priya isnt an exception.

Her transformation from a clumsy(not so often) serious, responsible and family oriented person, to a woman in love,sure footed, confident, graceful and fun loving is as dramatic as BALH has progressed...

We saw her running hither and thither to buy the exact shade of yellow bangle/bracelet for Ayesha in the first episode, inspite of running late for her own classes..

Her love and affection for Ayesha evident, inspite of Shipra treating her like a jerk..

Absolutely! You know what! To understand this, one should see the fashion show scene, where priya remembers above incident! Also the FB Priya and Priya sitting in the show, are so much diff! and for good! and her love for her family is intact!

"A myriad of emotions- a sense of not belonging , but craving for recognition and wanting to be loved, a lonely and forlon look, a sense of resigned acceptance ; thats how Raya will be treated and nothing much can be done about it."(to quote my very first post in this forum)

The very first face to face meeting of Raya. What followed was the Sher and Sherni fighting in full steam; with mistaken purposes and understanding.

Making bread pakodas, with smudges of besan on her face( when the Kapoor khandhan were forced to visit the Sharma household during Nutz and Karthik's rishta finalizing)she was a sight to watch.. Serving them all, she was mistaken to be the servant of the Sharma household by the high and lofty Niharika..😡😲

The tripping and almost falling on Ram when slightly jostled during a family album shoot, was indeed comical.

Their facial expressions were worth in Gold.

Her grand, yet clumsy entrance(thanks to high heels) during the so called engagement of Ram and Ayesha, elicited a smirk and ridicule even from Ram..Poor Priya

Her famous sticking of bindi on the plate, while a perfectionist Ram was trying to correct it..Hilarious..

And during her own engagement ceremony she was uncomfortable with the all those gifts given to her. And pray what she wore?A violet salwar and red duppatta, about which Ram complimented her as wearing an yellow salwar, that suited her and that she looked beautiful...

The rings though were hilariously misfit;, one so tight and the other so loose..😆 But the best was this accidental falling over each other..😉

Definately, Thanks to Neha!😆 And I loved it when they revisited this scene in 13th feb episode.. Look at priya! wearing such a boring dress at her own sagai.. Then Priya in 13th feb episode, "I want to look special, for Mr.Kapoor!'

Priya never bother about her appearances ever..

No lipsticks, no makeup, no glaring bindis, no jewellery.Simple yet arresting presence; serious yet attractive..

But just before wedding was the glimpse of one hugely positive body language. A sign of possession; the flaunting of her man before that swine Ashwin..

One of the best Raya scene.

This is one of my fav too! though I watched it after their marrige!(can you believe I started watching BALH only after RaYA marriage!)

The wedding of Raya saw some changes. Priya was made to wear heavy silk and zardosi sarees and her face made up to enhance her beauty. Inspite of all these she still refused to change her hairstyle( much to all our charign)..

Then the suhag raat;which in itself spoke a lot about Raya's uneasiness. The trademark hands on the back of her head, the facial displeasure and stupendous effort to ignore the bombardment of snoring from Ram..Priya was a sight to watch..😆

Hey, may be I'm going lil off topic! but I love Priya's 'hands on back of her head'.. Remember her walking alone after Ram-Ape hug in aus, when she did this.. All I wanted to do was to get up and hug her to console her!

The noticeable change

Post settling down in Kapoor mansion, Priya started changing, though imperceptible at first, but noticeable later..While getting talli at Vikram's home, she let out the endearing nickname for Ram;Tablet kapoor.Oh! how much she said in that inebriated state, eliciting anger and exasperation from Ram..

Probably the honeymoon trip to Australia was the harbinger of some dramatic transformation in Priya.;As an individual as well as her attire..

For the first time she started flirting with him, while being drunk and the running to hug him after getting separated in tram.

Remember, Sakshi said in one of SBB interview, that it was first time Priya felt that she belongs to Ram!

Those were memorable scenes..

And she started wearing sarees with more ease. Holding on to Ram's hands while falling asleep(after a scary night) and the silent company she kept across the glass pane of the closed shop; Priya was slowly getting more interested in Ram..

Remember Priya looking at asleep Ram, the love she felt for him is evident in her eyes! (And actually.. Sakshi's big expressive eyes are the plus point of priya! )

And Smile! Yes smiles too happened..

An universal gesture, she started smiling a lot, both in her eyes and in her heart..A person who was becoming more confident and sure of herself and not nervous, was very much evident in Priya's face..

As the slow self realization of being in love with Ram dawned on her( thanks to the little part of Krishnaji) Priya's body language started to speak volumes..

Her frequent glances at Ram whether at home or at parties signaled her deeper interest in him..

The cancer scare may have laid the foundation for bringing raya closer, but the body language was already strong that Ram really dindnt open his eyes to see all those stroing signal Priya was emitting.He was a typical bumpkin never bothering to decode those signals..

I mentioned earlier how she admitted to herself that she wanted to look special for Ram.. And Man! the chase game she played with him in party with her tedhi bindi! Alas! we all knew it wont happen, but still we wished Ram had understood the signal of her closed eyes!

As the wishes started getting fulfilled Priya was basking in the attention showered by Ram and the changes he was bringing about in her life..

But if Ram had been shrewd and watchful he could have seen those eyes and smiles of Priya.. How much she conveyed without any words.. Her body manifested whatever emotions her brain processed and that included a major attraction for ram..

there is major proof for this, for her changed attire n appearence! Remember the white dress she wore, in very next episode after closure of BC scare trac till airport scene, She had worn it earlier once.. but only addition of a bindi made her look so much different! and beautiful!

The big blockbuster

And now for the most important incident in her life.. The day she turned a woman in all respects, she displayed all the classic examples of the body language a woman who is in love with her man and who will toatally surrender herself to him..

Tossing and flipping and stroking her her hair while preening she was deliberately calling for Ram's attention.. The blouse she wore exposed her back and the small of her neck, which Ram was more attracted to..

Her walk! That was quite something. The slow and deliberate yet sensuous walk towards her man said more about the awareness and acceptance of what to come later.

Not only the walk... but the way she closed the door, and expression on her face at that time were speaking volumes! she was totally ready for it!

The way she sat crossing her leg towards him in the bed, showed she was wanting to catch his attention as much as possible..

And the look in eyes... filled with pure love!

A new look

Post consummation, there is definitely a new glow in her(which I have posted as a separate topic).. Sarees seems to be the order of the day.. Look at the way shes walking with ease and elan..No clumsiness nor ackwardness or tripping.. Her demeanour has changed immensely and her slim and graceful figure all adds up to high attractiveness..

I find a totally transformed Priya, whose body language is as interesting as her spoken words..

Seriously! She came to terms with what happened, earlier than Ram.. And she didn't hesitate in letting him know that! Look at her body language in '.. kal rat hamne koi chori nahi ki..' and '...Shikayat thode na kar rahi hu..' scene!

She has found her man! and He is all hers now..

Ram be warned ! Watchout for all those spoken and unspoken signals shes emitting.

Her body language speaks a new tongue, where love and trust and deeper understanding of her Man is evident..

And if we wanna look at the new found grace in her walk.. look at her when she goes to wardrobe to get that blue shirt for Ram!

I love & sometimes even miss 😭 the 'seedhi-sadhi', Priya Sharma so much. There was sumthing about her.⭐️

1. She was absolutely careless about herself, her appearance, but I liked her 'Girl next door' look in 'Kurti-jeans.' 'Seedhi-Sadhi'..pyarisi.She never used to fight or shout at anyone at ...I think..Golu ko milnay kay baad hi 1st time bhadak gayi thi shayad...😆😉Poor Golu. .she was pulling his leg by calling him dinosaur.That was my all time favourite RaYa scene.😳I remember she took back the glass of water from him...in rage. 😆

2. She was such a loving sister. I felt like, I want a lovely sis like Priya...Oh God...she was so cute.

3. She had selflessly given a lot to her family & in return she used to get a treatment like maid from Shipra & Ayesha. After those instances, the sad expressions on her face & the conversations with her father were so heart-touching.' The craving for love of her family' was so obvious on her face.

4. She was smart enough when Golu was looking for a match for her & asked her about expectations, she smiled & replied 'tall, dark & handsome'. She is good at pulling Golu's leg from day one.

6. She was shown as a very shy girl whom Shipra used to give a gyan on 'Shaadi kay baad kya kya hota hain hints' on Rukmini song. 🤣 But Golu's love has turned her into bold & beautiful wife.😉 She does not bother about taking the initiative in love making & flirt a lot with Golu...'Humney chori thodi na ki hain...😆'👏😳☺️

After falling in love she has started paying attention to her appearance. She looks pretty in the sarees . Her mummy had adviced her to wear the colour suitable to the mood, it seems she is following her advice.

I am loving Mrs. Priya Kapoor a lovey-dovey wife who is taking charge of hubby dears life. The authority she shows on him while showing her affection is adorable. Her shyness, blushing, helplessness on hubby's naughtiness is a treat to watch. 😳
