When i think of Ram, Priya, Vikram and Neha, all these share a wonderful bonding and every two of these have a nice relation.

But when u really start to analyse we can find hell lot of similarities betwen Vikram and Priya.

1. Both are down to earth middle class people. One has The famous business tycoon as her life partner and the other has him as his best buddy. But they never show off and try to take advantage. ( Vikram couldn't ask Ram for a hike and Priya still works inspite of being asked by Ram whats the necessity).

2. Inspite of Ram being rude or rough to both of these, they take it as his childish nature and are by his side for ever.

3. Both are sensible at mind and sensitive at heart.

4. For both of them family is important. But friendship is equally important( sometimes infact more important). In case of Vikram we can take the issue of that heirloom necklace. Inspite of Neha's insistence, he believed in Ram and he was worried about Ram rather than him and his family and ofcourse his reputation.

So is the case of Priya. Shruthi has cheated her to fullest possible extent a girl can do to another girl. But still she took it as destiny and remained her friend and tried to help her out inspite of being spoken ill by Ashwin. And even her mother never liked her talking to Shruthi. Still she continued her friendship with her.

Vikram was the one who first wanted Priya as Ram's wife. Maybe for the reason that he found her to be as caring and as sensible as himself coz Ram definitely needs someone like him in his life. And he definitely knew that Vikram,he himself can't have a great take in Ram's personal life as family comes first to him.

Its only Vikram and Priya who have suspicions about Sid ( thanks to the necklace issue).

And another feather to his cap was his saving Ayesha as though she is his own sister-in-law and not Ram's.

I sometimes feel that they are psycholgically twins, Priya and Vikram with so many similarities in their basic nature and moral values.

Nice ya. I agree with you. Vikram and Priya should get best devar- bhabhi award (Vik calls her bhabhi sometimes). They are really similar. Even on Natasha's birthday they wore same color clothes. Vik's shirt and Priya's saree color was exactly the same.

I love RaYa and NeVi scenes.

Chitra a fantastic observation and analysis.. I never thought along these lines.. Good of you to raise it here..

Vikram and Priya are the pillars of Ram..If either one is removed then Ram is nothing..

Both know how to circumvent their own problems and still think good for others..

Priya working for her family and Vikram inspite of having an over possessive wife and sweeet kids, always are cheerful and never take out their frustraion on others...

Indeed Ram is blessed to have the two of them in his life..

I love their characterisation by the CVs.

Both Sakshi and Jai are doing fantastic job..

Vikram always found Priya to be right choice for Ram, as he knows Ram better than any one else...Vikram is a friend for whom his family and friendship goes hand by hand...may be sometimes he overhear Neha but never for Ram and here I would say Neha is of also same pattern, for her Ram is their true frnd, though Ram is of Vik's frnd but never showed any ill feelings towards their frnsdhip, Neha also make Ram a part of their family, if Neha opposed to their frndshp then Vik would not have been in this position with Ram, so when Vik found Priya to be as sensible and head strong he found she to be apt for Ram who can take care of his beloved but thoda sa pagal dost

This is a nice observation. Hope CV's are listening to this. I think this will come into picture when Vik's boss Harry will come into the limelight.

wow, great insight!! i loved it, and it was such a remanrkable change from the cnyt discussions!!

i agree vikram and priya are perhaps morte similar then ever shown, i somehow am starting to dislike neha she is too whinny impulsive and loud!!

i also feel that vik and priya both althoug have a mellow personality quiet sort but are very strong, there values ethics and common sense sets them apart from the rest of the kappors sharmans and singhs!! i love the way vik has the sense of looking ahrad, and i feel priya will soon bond more with vik esp to save ayesha from sid, however i dont get that why vik dsnt tell priya abnt sis advances!! hope he does on mon

Yes u r ryt. More than the colour sense i felt gud that they shared a nice rapport on V day. I wouldn't have minded had Priya given him a friendly side hug on V day

I really feel good getting to know that people who are regular writers in IF are finding my little analysis thoughtful. Thanks Maris.

They have amazing mind maturity when compared to others. Just think of this. Sharma family knew about the necklace issue and am sure Priya might have told them how she solved their problem and showed that Sid infact was responsible for that. Atleast Sudhir who is said to be reasonable must have thought about Sid helping Ayesha out. Also if I remember during Natasha- Karthik wedding they even said that Ram's family's behaviour towards him is not good. How could they forget that?
