tochukumariI remember your last post when you criticized Priya for being OTT. NOw you are back with this!!I think what the other member was trying to convey is that it must be really difficult to dislike the leads and watch the show!! And you are true.. This is a hatke story!WRT the whole world knwing, there were the BIG C promos running for the past 2 weeks and Sony did their advertising about Ram and Priya ka milan on Monday 10/.30pm. The forum had enough euphoria.. Sad that you missed the warnings!😳
Yes, In fact that's why I came on forum, because Priya's reaction was full of over acting and loud.
And are you serious, Did Sony actually advertise " Ram and Priya ka milan on Monday 10/.30pm" ????????
ROfl🤣

Indian television needs to have some censor board, I mean the way they put at least PG 13 type warnings on American shows.Ram-Priya's scene was shown in too much details and too long.. In addition it wasn't pleasant to watch their romance.
I personally do not like these 2 actors Ram Kapoor and sakshi Tanvar at all, I watch the show because the story is little 'hat ke' from typical shows .
It was unbearable for me to watch 2 least favorite actors going intimate for 1 full episode.
Damn, I was expecting more interesting intreactiosn from Nuts and Ayesha, but Sony wasted complete scene on bed 🤬 !
After having merged about 10 different topics, giving up and finally closing 5 other threads on the same, I figured I should comment on the issue a bit too.
What I say may not appreciated by all (or any..) but I would just like to clarify that I make this post as a member of IF and not as a DT member for this forum.
I've been watching several different threads pop up, chastising the inappropriateness of the scene from yesterday. Now I wouldn't know how horrible it was or if it was indeed bad at all because I haven't seen it. But I do have a couple of things I would like to say nonetheless. Sony has been advertizing the "grand consummation" for the past week or two - I know because I had to merge 10 different threads the day the promo aired and every day since demanding the consummation. For ANYONE who even REMOTELY follows BALH or any other show on Sony, THIS promo should have been a hint that the episode to come (whenever it did) would NOT be age-appropriate at all. So that's strike one.
If for some reason we did in fact manage to miss the promo and therefore weren't forewarned, there was the episode on Friday that should have been a heads up of sorts. Most of the people upset about yesterday's episode being inappropriate are the same who were upset about the "camera-angle" kiss from Friday's. So I would just assume that you'd realize k if a PRELUDE to consummation would hint at a "kiss" then maybe the real deal will match it if not surpass it! And maybe it would have been wise to keep a look out for the consummation episode so that we'd be able to skip it whenever it did air..? So NOT heeding to that warning is strike two.
And finally when the show did air yesterday, if you really were that clueless that you sat to watch the show - you sat through the proclamation of love, sat through their "romantic" talks and finally sat through the consummation - pray tell me WHY you felt obligated to sit through the whole episode inspite of it being inappropriate to your sensibilities. If it were me and if I were being offended by something sensual on screen, I'd avert my eyes, change the channel or turn of my television. I would do that because I do NOT have to watch that bit on screen. I have the option and RIGHT to choose not to watch it and I would have done that. But yet, some of us sat through the protagonists' romantic banter, sat through their romantic foreplay and eventually sat through their concluding kiss, only to complain about it NOW? If it was something inappropriate for your sensibilities and for the people around you, it would have been more helpful to just have turned off the television and prevented the whole catastrophic viewing instead of watching it all and THEN complaining. Strike three.
And if you did in fact turn it off, then I see no reason for any hue/cry at all. Some members didn't like it and it was a given that they won't. Some members felt nothing wrong with it and that was expected too. What I don't get is why we have to be the moral police and decide right here on IF if the show was appropriate or not! We are not QUALIFIED to decide for a whole nation/world of viewers what is or is not appropriate. We can only decide for ourselves. And once we decide for ourselves, if we deem it to be inappropriate we can subsequently turn off the television and watch something else. We can do that. But anything else and anything MORE we can't do. Certainly not by posting proclamations on IF.
It baffles me that people that find hawt trip-catches, bath-room-romances, rain-dances appropriate are the same that do not find another SR to be the same. And to say that one is BETTER than the other because one doesn't have a kiss and the other does..? *shakes head* I can never get the logic.
BALH is not promoting "sex" anymore than any of the other shows before it have by glamorizing the ever important "suhaag raat". Sex and lust have already been promoted for the past three years if not more by the numerous Star One and now Star Plus/Zee/Sony shows. I'm not saying that's a bad thing and I'm not saying that's a good thing - I'm just saying k it IS. And that it seems silly to say BALH is the sole show to now START promoting sexual activity when these sexual innuendos have been ever prevalent in our television world for the past three years in the various other (seemingly righteous at the moment) shows.
I really wish people would learn to exercise some restrain on themselves, that they'd work towards doing what's right for THEM instead of trying to police the whole world around them. Lets work towards doing what's best for US individually than trying to tell everyone what's best for THEM and the whole nation.
