Oh God, one more, It's so irritating, why does you post such things in the forum. Common yaar now a days such scenes are very common in Indian Television & if you take Star Plus it's a lot a head of it, for instance just watch Sasural Genda Phool C-Nite, Maryada etc. So we didn't find it strange or awkward in watching such scenes. People have become so positive, broad minded & social that they don't find any fault in showing or watching such scenes and more over it's a mature love story & the time slot of 10.30 is meant for adults only...Any ways it's up to you to watch it or not, the channel or any one didn't force you to watch...And in this forum most of us are in favor of it, so please don't post such things in this forum & it wouldn't be possible for us to explain it..

C'mon folks who're objecting, who're we kidding? "Children" these days watch and know much more than this from the films and from TV.

I think the episode was overdue and perfectly justified.

I also think it was high time Indian television audiences got a heroine who isn't afraid to show desire or to occasionally take the lead in such matters and (surprise!) is not also a vamp or otherwise "bad" person because she does so. Totally fed up of milksop heroines and "pavitra rishta"s.

@ Indomitable: On the other hand, though I disagree with Juhi, I must defend her right to voice an honest opinion. That's what a "forum" is about, exchanging views, not just expecting one's own ideas to be confirmed by others and then taking them to task for having a different perspective on things.

No complaints from me either. To watch it "live", I have to wait till 1am!
Worth every single yawn and cup of coffee I am going to have at work tomorrow.

My sister and I are the only ones who watch this show in my house and we are both in our 20s. So perhaps, I am not taking into consideration how it would impact another household with children/teenagers. But I agree with what has been mentioned, we have to take into consideration the time that this show is aired and also the nature of this show. The root of this show is the story of two people falling in love. That alone indicates to me that this is not a family show unlike shows such as Parvarish etc.

In my opinion, it would shortchange us viewers if the episode had not been given this open and honest treatment and if the entire moment had lasted for just 5 minutes and we end up with the morning after. Isn't the whole point of this serial for us to SEE these two complete opposites, who started off their marriage as a compromise, fall deeply in love?

I could be speaking for myself here but I feel highly satisfied with the portrayal of these MOMENTOUS scenes and honestly, it wasn't just because the scenes were hot, sexy, titillating etc. It is simply because it portrayed a sense of fulfillment and completion between these two characters and even more so, a sense of fulfillment and completion for us, the audience, who have been cheering these two on from day one.

That said, would I want to see this every week? Honestly, NO.

But for this particular episode, it was acceptable and I feel that it gives their relationship more depth. So, I am completely on board! Syabas to the actors!
