What's wrong with Shipra?

Did she really have to behave like Nuts? Doesn't age give you some maturity and you know better? Nuts is young and above all a brat, but Shipra has no excuse to talk like that to her d-i-l. What is the difference between them then?

I could forgive Nuts for her behavior but not Shipra!

May be she is behaving like that because this time Nutz has hurt sudheer and not just her. She knows very well that Sudheer is extra calm and decent and did not wanted her bahu to shut her husbands mouth. May be that would be the reason.

A female will somehow tolerate abuses said to her but a wife will never tolerate somebody saying anything bad about her husband if husband is a very nice man. It is said that "the first mistake should be overlooked." This was for the first time Sudheer took Nut's car and what did he get in return - insult from her D-I-L.

If I was in place of Shipra I will behave the same. Nobody dare to insult my husband.

Actually, it was good for the writers to show some consistency in character. After all, all other characters are inconsistent (i.e. Niharika's attitude towards Nuts is changed, Nuts attitude towards the family was her whole reason for keeping the abortion a secret). Nuts has not apologized at all--even Kartik's apology was 1/2 hearted.
