Well atleast she was angry with Nutts, and Nutts did do things for her apology, so Shipra does have self-respect. Also Nutts seeking apology shows that she is tryng hard to be accepted in to the family and does care for them! so it is like a win-win situaton! Shipra has always been money/luxury minded, you cannot completely change a character! she is having fun with a few little luxuries in her house, it is all good, it is not like she forced Nutts for any of it!

Shipra's nature can never be changed.. Her characterisation is one of irritaion, indignation, annoying sometimes warming and very rarely sane.. Generally such a kind of person cant think logically or practically for too long..

Show some carrots in front of her she will follow anywhere. An analogy that just proves that all best and good things has always been denided to her so far and with little temptaion she yields..

TV, car, Lipstick, new fashionable clothes, compact set etc etc attracts her..Unfulfilled desires often crop up and she simply forgets her bearings and craves for things to be granted and fulfillled; forgeting her surroundings and always getting embarassed and ridiculed..

So Shipra is the way she is and can never change, inspite of repeated belittlings and disparagings..

Kudos to Renuka Israni for portraying such a role..
