Part 9
Ram left for the meeting closing the door behind… Priya is still looking at the closed gate in daze wondering as what has transpired into her husband since last 2 days… why is he behaving so weird… completely contrary to his original and normal behavior.
After some time
Ram happily comes out from the Conference hall greeting away the delegates as soon as they left he turns to Aditi (His PA) and informs he is calling an early day off…
As he starts walking to his cabin.. he is very happy even with the thought of spending some quality moments with his wife… but his smile soon fades as he sees VikHA happily chatting with Priya…
Though he was shocked and upset seeing his plan for evening almost a failure but manages himself not to show any such expression on his face, which was hanging like his chin, will soon touch the ground. Neha was the first to be aware of his presence… and quickly runs towards him. He too happily welcomes his best friends.
They starts chatting… but all the time Ram was thinking about Priya and spending time in alone with them that was when Neha hugging Priya sideways and says "Fatty tum toh humko bhul hi gaye yeh toh tumhari biwi I mean humhari Priya hi hai jo humhe tumhari bday celebrate karne ke liye bulaya…"
This was when Ram-Priya share a look, ram with a question as why u did this as when I told u only two of us, and Priya in order to see ram's expression. And as she was expecting Ram really got angry and turned his face refusing to see in her eyes…
They all went to a nice cozy restaurant…
Priya has booked a nice and family corner room so that they all can enjoy and Ram was really mad with her not even looking at her… when Neha insisted to occupy the seats in couple (as in ram-Priya on sofa and VikHa on other) but Ram sweetly but sarcastically avoids it saying… "Couple couple toh humesha hi… for granted hote hai… isliye aaj tu mere paas bhaithegi… when neha tries to argue… Priya who was very well understanding him tries interrupts saying its okay neha for a change…"
Priya ordered a huge Vanilla wine cake (Yummy… I can imagine it… ooh pls bear with me as its my 2nd fav choice) he cuts it VikHa gives him a bite he happily grabs one but when Priya offers… he takes the piece in his hand and says thank u in reply without looking at her…
and after having the dessert when ram was about to leave… Priya stop him saying Ram kya mai aapse kuch puchu…
Ram all shocked turn to look at her (first eye lock since evening) and replied to her in hmm
Priya: Ram Do I have some rite to take decision on behalf of you… for both of us…
Ram nodded in affirmative sense…
Priya (to VikHa) I know its been only few months to my presence in both of ur life… if I ask u for something will u give it to me… will u support me!!!!!
Vikram: Bhabhi aap aise kyu bol rehi hai… aap boliye aapko kya chahiye… bus
Neha too supported Vikram
Priya: taking out something from her purse turns to Ram and says "I know kii yeh mai jo aapko dene ki koshish kar rehi hu vo mai aapko kabi nahi de sakti kyunki vo aapke paas humehsa se tha aur humesha rehega… par kahin na kahi mujhe aisa lagta hai its bcoz of me kii aapki life ka yeh imp part was drifted apart from u… so I thought kii…" (Was with tears)
Ram: Priya tum kya keh rehi ho… and why r u crying…
Vikha still trying to get something out from Priya's talk…
Priya wiping her tears… hands ram his gift…
Ram with a bemuse look takes his gift and all vat he could says was a gift!!!
VikHa: smiles and says kya Priya yeh koi baat thi rone kii…
Neha: Chalo fatty jaldi se gift kholo hum bhi toh dekhe kii Priya ne apne pyaare se pati dev ko kya diya hai… I hope priya u don't mind…
Priya: ofcourse not… aur isiliye toh maine tum dono ko bhi bulaya tha… I mean I wanted both of two be present at this moment…
All surprised… ram quickly opens the gift… takes out the gift and reads the note:
"Ram I wanted to give u something that u real miss in ur life… and what I could really find since our marriage is this… so I thought of this for u… I hope u agree with me on this…"
Ram all silent looks at Priya with teary eyes… soon turns and takes a pen sign across the paper and hands it to Priya
During all this VikHa were a bit tensed as what all they could see were teary eyes of Ram-Priya… a long silence between the couple and above all a legal document that ram has just signed with a expression that clearly tells that he wasn't expecting this from Priya… but also a happy and calm feeling on both of their faces…
