When Niharika was giving her speech about the necklace, why did Vikram assume Sid didn't tell Niharika that he has the necklace in his pocket when Sid told him that Niharika is so worried about the necklace being safe or not so she wants someone to keep it safe😆

That is because Sid told Vikram that Niharika told Sid to keep but, he can not as he is busy attending guest so he ask Vikram to keep it as he trust him and he will let Niharika know about Vikram keeping the necklace instead of him.

when Niharika announced he thought that Sid forgot to tell her that the necklace is with him and not with Sid.
