I feel bad for kartik. He should be given chance to justify himself. I am not staying he did right thing by slapping Natasha. But Natasha is not less either. The way Ram loves her sister and does not listen anything against Natasha, same way Kartik loves his sister too. How can he tolerate what Natasha said bad about his sister. Also when Vikram was asking ram to think about the issue he got mad at Vikram. Vikram should scream at him on top of his voice ( even though he is so soft to do that) and tell him that the way you are not listening anything against Natasha, Kartik also should not listen anything against his sister. But this is my opinion.
