I don't care so much about looks. He has an amazing personality no doubt about it. Even the best chocolate hero can get a complex.

What's important is his HEALTH! How did it come to this...He should know better than to take it so lightly. He has two young kids and I think its very important he gets FIT. I am sure Gautami will be the happiest if he lost the excess baggage.

When it comes to blogs/ magazines/ newspapers and people in general. They will gossip any way. He needs to lose weight for himself and his family.

I think he was pretty fit in Kasam Se. In JDJ he started gaining the weight.

TOI should decide whether it finds the plump Ram cute or fat. Few days back there were articles on how bellies are now acceptable on TV and viewers are liking realistic looking leads. But now they publish an article against Ram's weight.
Anyways I agree with the article and most of you that Ram should lose weight but only for his own health.

It is pretty discriminatory for them to do that...Ram is probably the most well known tv actors in the industry and more so for his acting capabilites than anything else... i think people need to realize that an actor can be any size but thus far i've been convinced of his character ...size ka kya hai? anyways, if its him to becoming healthy then all for it but i feel bad that people gave rude comments about his weight

I totally agree. Kuch toh log kahenge Logon ka kaam hai kehna the line comes to my mind. But didn't they see Ram when they signed him for BALH. Its not like he gained weight overnight.

Give us a break. Its good to be fit and healthy but to discriminate on that basis..is nonsense.

He is an astonishing actor, doing an awesome job and people are commenting on his weight, this is bad.

What is it? People are uncomfortable watching their romance serial if the leads are not model looking like persons? Shame on this part of the audience.

I agree. I watched Virrudh where Smriti Irani looked like Ram' sister.

And now am happily watching BALH. I am tired of seeing Anorexic heroines and bare chest heros who have flesh on only their biceps.

while for his own good I am glad to hear that he had started a healthy routine for himself and his family/fans sake only and not for anything else.

I welcome this article if the orders are given to him then I would say it is really time he does something about his weight, I know how he looked when KS started and from where to where he went as KS ended, his talent I do not doubt nor his charm, I am also not saying he should have 6 packs but then he should take care of his health, after all health is wealth :)

I agree with you somewhat, in the past we had not so fit actors, the name that comes to my mind off hand are Sanjeev Kumar, Shammi Kapoor even for that matter of fact Amitabh Bachchan also did not have a good body as he was thin, but we still loved those actors as they had their unique personality, regarding Ram I want him to get back into shape but not six packs because I feel he should take care of his health

Ram Kapoor is the only person fit to play the lead in BALH, even if he is obese. But losing a few pounds is good for health.
