How to ruin a good show by week 5...to watch and learn tune into BALH Mon-Thurs 10:30 pm...Oh and you need only watch till week 5...you'll learn everyting you need to know...
here are my Top 3 very crucial steps...
1. Toy with your audience by airing some magical promos...
(Now I am seriously confused how they even came up with those promos...was it pure blind luck that they struck a chord? Was there a creative process behind those or was it all unintentional? I am beginning to think it was the latter...Purely unintentional...)
2. Recycle recycle recycle...after all we ALL need to be environmentally conscious these days. We shouldn't be using our brains too much...save mental energy! Don't think up anything new! Recycle Recycle Recycle! Every now and then before the proletariat rises in mass revolt at the mind numbingly asinine story lines...give them another balcony or garden scene...keep the masses happy...throw the dog a bone...whet their appetites for more of the same ol same ol...Recycle Recycle Recycle!
3. Bring together 2 talented actors whose chemistry and screen presence lulls you into the belief that you don't actually need a story, not a new one anyway... anyway aren't there supposed to be only 6 original story lines in the world anyway? And didn't someone say, nothing under the sun is new? If any cheeky critics point out the lack of originality, adopt a superior air and repeat the above...
