After watching today's epi, was just thinking y everyone was pouncing on Ram, especially Priya's dad. ek to koi kaam nahi karta aur apne beti ke liya accha ladka dhoond nahi paya, uper se was ready to get his daughter married off to some tom, dick...whatever..and he is blaming him. Agreed he promised that guy money, promotion, etc.but being a parent they don't have any responsibility????.. but i really liked priya today?👏

I too agree... priya's Dad has some reponsibilty ..but what to do some people only talk... they donot do the work😕

Priya's emotional scene was applaudable..she was right, they've made a joke out of her shaadi, almost like a competition..all her frustration towards the whole concept unsurped out at once, I liked the way she even gave Shipra a piece of her mind, respect is one thing but constant nagging is another!

Sakshi Tanwar, has the emotional range to carry out this scene commendably..though I didnt quite like Ram's performance today!

I too felt bad for Ram. Everybody literally pounced on him. And when vikram started to say he cut him off. It wasnt entirely his fault. The situation was already bad and he made it worse. And also the vella dad did say that it was their fault. They should have made enquiries about that guy. He did blame himself.

True yar.. They should hav verified about d guy before nly rather than blaming ram.. I felt sad how al were pouncing on ram..atleast he told them he did nt keep quiet aft getting to kw d truth..

Well I do think that Ram has to take responsibility - his direct actions brought about this situation. What was he thinking? No person in his senses can imagine that a guy who agrees to a marriage based on the promise of money and promotions is going to make a good partner! That's crazy! I rally hoped they wouldn't go down this route because it does make Ram look really bad. Makes him look thoughtless and selfish. Now that they have done it, I'd like to see him admit to this and make apologies to Priya for having used her to get what he wants...

The family too needs to take responsibility - their indirect actions brought about this. their passivity and their obvious hurry to fix this no matter what. Everything Priya said about their embarrassment at her unmarried status is true. They lashed out at Ram because he was the obvious target.

One person who SHOULD take responsibility and they didn't show this is Priya herself.

She needs to take responsibility for agreeing to this marriage *despite* her instincts and misgivings JUST to please her family. But I have a feeling she does feel her own responsibility, otherwise she wouldn't have lashed out the way she did. She too needs to introspect...

So it's a three-way split for me in terms of apportioning responsibility!!! Everyone played a part in this mess.

After all the speech on independence and standing on her own feet, and being happy single, it would be kind of funny to see Priya hitching on to Ram, just to please her family. I think they should've cut down on that scene in the light of the upcoming track. Right now after today's drama, both Ram and Priya would look quite funny together.

Agree! It's not fair that the entire blame has to be laid at Ram's door. Being the parents of Priya you were supposed to check out the guy's credentials in the first place. Ram did a favour that Vineet was exposed before marriage and not after . Everbody likes the blame game but hate to take the plunge.
