I agree the first episode was interesting enough to want to see more, though there were OTT elements but I guess that is Ekta plus creative licence.

Though the situations contrived were a bit unrealistic (especially in Ram's case), it went on to highlight one important aspect of the story - that both would go to any length to please their loved ones, but their feelings are obviously not reciprocated by the family. And I loved how both portrayed their pain, not resentment but just hurt, almost like denial that their families would treat them so shabbily!

All in all, an interesting beginning...hope what follows is even better!

LOL, for me it was pretty disappointing considering all the hype about being a unique concept.
I found Sakshi's character the same as all Ekta leads. Nothing new there.
The whole TOEFL class was lame.
Then Ram buying a whole company just for the jet was lame. Seriously.

For a first episode, definitely not upto the mark considering the huge expectations. Hope the epis get better with time.

@Shanti - I also hope that they proceed with the story in a sensible way.

@ ssroomani - You can definitely call me Rachna or Poet, anything that is fine with you.

The portrayal of the two lead characters were great but I found the other characters very contrived as you put it, barring Priya's Dad. So I would deffo want the PH to do some spacing out and not make the Show loud and irritating. The issues considered are genuine and the handling should be delft, clear, peaceful and sensible.

@aa - I agree with you that the first epi did not live upto my expectations definitely. But I liked the lead characters.

Very well written, dear! I agree with you completely. Somehow, both Ram and Priya's life moves in the same way. I'm loving the pace of the story and I just hope BT doesn't ruin this show like all the other.

Yes I agree The warmth is missing..for Ram..

Hope she don't turn out to be one..
