I had the same Q yest while watching Biji telling the girls about the farm. I said, waaait a minute? What's going on? This man balraj (thru father) owns a farm and never mentioned it, never bragged about it, the fact that he OWNS it ????
And yes like moi also posted 1-2 days ago about why Ani was not a bad person. He was majboor to marry Nandini cuz balraj will end up getting her father's entire wealth🤢 And what do I see ? This video on UT uploaded literally 4-5 hrs ago. (Dunno if it was ever shown before March 18).

So like Shobhi / Athi / Quietude say, and the way KK says in the above video (will have to rewind to be able to "translate" it FULLY 
), balraj has this psychotic need, neurotic obsession with owning 'EVERYTHING just cuz there are some people like that, and will go to any lengths, literally, even killing, to jabt karna, snatch, grab, usurp all that he WANTS to (shown by KK with his fist twisted)
