Balraj brings Meera to his study room. He tells her 2 months ago their world was shattered. Losing Ani broke him completely. Balraj starts crying and shares how helpless he feels. He cant even die because the family needs him to mend their terrible present condition. Meera tells him to be positive and live for Nandini, Nupur, Beeji and rest of the family members. Balraj looks surprised and asks how she could wish good for them after the kind of ill treatment they did to her. He tells him she has a big heart.
Amma ji, Beeji, Pallavi, Agasthya all are worriedly looking at the closed door... waiting for Balraj and Meera.
Balraj with folded hands begs Meera to not take away Anirudh's child from him. Meera is speechless.
Akhil is trying to convincing Nandini to go back home. Akhil says the one responsible for her condition is not alive he cant give explanations nor can he heal her wounds. Nandini tells him the relationship she had is no longer the same. Akhil says she is not responsible for ruining that relationship it was Ani who ruined their relationship... she is his wife and the house belongs to her. He makes her understand she is the only who has relationship with them and if Ani was alive today then Meera would have been asked to leave not Nandini because Meera has no right to live in that house. Its Nandini's house and she is the owner of it. Akhil assures Meera will leaving today.
Nupur asks Beeji and the others why the taxi is still waiting outside and why Meera is still no gone. Niranjan is cracking some joke.. Agasthya and Beeji is in serious mode. Nupur informs them.. Akhil is bringing Nandini back home.
Balraj is trying his best to convince Meera but she doesnt want to stay she feels it'll be wrong for her to stay because it will affect Nandini. Balraj asks her where she'll go from here. Meera says she'll go to Dharamshala but Balraj says she cant stay alone. Meera tells him she always lived alone and knows how to take care of herself. Balraj says its not easy to take care of a baby all alone. Meera is still not ready to live. She tells him she does not want to stay. Balraj does some more drama.. he is talking to Ani's photo and saying he'll never forgive him for deceiving the one he truly loved. Meera reminds Balraj.. Ani betrayed Nandini too. Balraj says Nandini was his wife but you are his true love. Meera says a firm NO !! She says she was the other person for whom the society will shower with ugly nasty words.. Balraj assures her not to bother about society the truth is her and Ani's love was true and the child is a symbol of it. Balraj falls to her feet with folded hands saying the child is not only hers but also Ani and his family's. He says he cant force her but he can beg and plead to her. Balraj is crying and begging.. Meera is shocked.. she tells him to get up. Balraj tells her if she leaves then the house will see another death because he'll commit suicide. Meera is shell shocked. Balraj requests her to stay back atleast for few days till she gets fully recovered.
Beeji, Nupur, Shyama, Pallo, Niranjan and Agasthya still waiting outside. Balraj and Meera comes out. Balraj announces Meera is not leaving she is going to stay with them ! All of them shocked ! Balraj says he lost his son therefore he cant afford to lose his aakhri nishaani this time. Ammaji comments its disgraceful to keep an unwed mother in the house hers is an illegitimate child. Balraj is furious and says the child is not illegitimate its Ani's child. He says he wont tolerate any wrong remarks or ill-treatment being given to Meera and Ani's child. Nupur is angry at Meera she asks her what trick she played on Balraj to stay back in the house. Beeji pulls Nupur back. Beeji tells Balraj she cant stay in the house because its Nandini's house. Balraj tells Beeji she was the one who told him Meera had no where to go and its wrong to throw a helpless girl away from their home.. he asks her does she want him to lose another grandchild. Balraj orders Pallavi to make breakfast for Meera and Nupur to take Meera to her room. Meera tells him she can do it herself.
Shyama takes Meera to her room. Pallavi goes to kitchen.
Beeji and Agasthya are still there with Balraj. Beeji says Balraj's decision will cause havoc !
