She is so eager to run away , go away , what if she runs away ? Will Balraj murder her ? He clearly doesn't like his daughters.. Then why does he care whether they go away or not , whether they work or not

Balraj only cares about male heirs and doesnt really care about his daughters or the females in the house but the reason he confines them is his idea of keeping his family reputation remain high.

Balraj also cannot give up his power and hold. If Nupur runs away or any other female go against him then he takes that to be his weakness or defeat. He wants complete control over all of them.
