I don't know why People in India are not questioning these TV serial producers as to what right do they have of showing a medical condition in their own terms.

It frustrates me as a science/medical student because, due to these TV serials, many misconceptions are being created in people's mind... I have lost a very important person in my family because some stupid person of the TV industry decided to show that a family member can donate blood to another family member, without showing that every family member can have a different blood type, and that it has to be checked and not assumed during blood transfusion. A stupid village doctor in India did a blood transfusion on my grandpa based on this misconception and he past away in no less than an hour. I wish I was there to stop the bloody doctor and this misconception.

Similarly, this TV serial talks about Swayam having a split personality in which he becomes a woman during the day and angry man during the night. No where in the real psychological world does it say that a person with a double personality disorder/split personality, despite being a man, can behave like a woman. It is quite ridiculous on their part to show such a thing and misguide people through their media. I know it is a soap but there should a limit to what they can show on it in terms of medical procedures or diseases. Many people in Rural INdia take these TV people very seriously. Oh, god help them all.

This is just what I feel

take care

sorry abt your granpa.

People in villages are illiterate, .They make mistakes due to lack of basic education . TV cannot be held responsible for that , it is for entertainment for all mass. They cannot adjust their show for village folks.

Yes they do encourage educational shows but they have no interest in watching such shows.

IT IS WRONG TO HOLD PRODUCERS RESPONSIBLE FOR LACK OF BASIC EDUCATION. 😃 I disagree with you.

Ya Tv Shows are fictional stuff, They should not be held responsible & i agree soaps are for entertainment.

It is extremely sad your gpa became a victim, of an inexperienced doc. I really feel sad , noone should be a victim of such an unfortunate event.

But these days people are smart, this news is surprising.
