New Show for Sana Saeed - Article

Sana Saeed, who played Shah Rukh's daughter Anjali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, is set to play the lead in an upcoming comedy show on SAB. The daily sitcom, being produced by Cinevistaas, is titled Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Is Ghar Kiand will air from June 30.

Says Sana, "I play the lead character of Pooja. Besides me, there is Rohini Hattangadi and Tanaaz Currim-Irani. Pooja arrives in Mumbai to become a singer. This is one character which is very close to me."

Having bagged a plum role, Sana had to bid adieu to her current show – Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na on Sony. "I was to play the parallel lead in Babul.. but that's not how it has panned out. I strongly felt that my character was sidelined. I haven't shot for them for over a month now. I had communicated to them about my desire to move on during that period."
