-||- POSTPONED: BAVD banner contest 2 -||-

Salam, BAVD fans!

Since most of you seem to want a new banner, we shall have a new banner contest. Starting with the rules

• The banner must be 728 x 90 pixels (length x width) (meaning 728 across the page, and 90 from top to bottom)
• Members may submit up to 3 banners
• Try to include as many characters as possible. No character can appear more than once on the banner. That includes Murli & Bharti.
• The following people must be included
• Bharti & Murli
• The following people are optional
• Anyone else
• Use all the actors who've been finalized after the 20 year leap. Don't include those who played pre-leap roles. Only Murli & Bharti can be shown in both pre-leap & post-leap roles
• You must also have the word "Baba aiso varr dhoondo" somewhere on your banner, spelt exactly like I spelt it here, since that's the official spelling from Imagine's site.
• For all the characters on the banner, only snapshots of theirs from the show is allowed (but not those of the actors when they were not playing their roles in this serial)
• Do not create multiple ID's to submit entries or publicize your banner in any way (e.g. putting your tag on it). The result of this will be disqualification.
• All banners must be non-animated. Animated banners will be disqualified
• Do NOT post your entries in this or other threads, or else they will be disqualified
• PM all entries to .Vrish.

Last date to send entries is TBD. If you require an extension, or can not make the deadline for some reason, please PM me. Update: This contest has been put on hold until we see how things shake up after December 9th, when the leap happens.

is there anywhere where i can get good quality pics from??

Unfortunately, nobody has been taking this down so the only way I can think of is to download the YouTube videos on Imagine's site and take stillshots of those and use them, or download the video updates of Sonyfan. Unfortunately, the pictures thread has a gazillion Murli's and Bharti's, but very few of the other characters except when they are not acting (such pics cannot be used in the banner).

can't participate...don't have all the cast pics...

I'm postponing the contest. From what I hear, there will likely be a lot of changes to the cast, so it doesn't make sense to run this contest w/ the current cast. We'll adapt a wait & watch approach - see the new cast, how long the serial is likely to run, as well as the interest levels here, and if all synergistically combine to justify a new banner, we'll do it.
