I think, by leaping to 7 years or 20 years as originally planned, Raakesh was trying to re-enact the scene he witnessed in real life which gave him the idea for this show.Wow! Never thought of that. But could very well have been the idea

I think that Raakesh was trying to leap 20 years where Mridang's son is going to disrespect Bharti and push her because he is taller than her.

I really don't see what kind of a future Raakesh is going to give Murli & Bharti with such a huge leap. What are they going to do in 7 years, which they can't right now?Yes, someone please give me the answer to this too? Would it not have made more sense to show how they deal with becoming new parents? How they deal with the first few years of their childs life, and their apprehensions about it's 'health' for the want of a better word.

The 20 year leap explains "the end of" MURti. Hence, the end of this show - and maybe that is where we are headed - out the toob, along with the TRP and ratings.

Someone, PLEASE let me know if Vikrant is in any other show after BAVD because I normally don't catch Indian programs.

I wonder what Juhi will do. Aisa moka baar baar nahi ata! I guess she will go on and finish her studies to become Dr. Juhi Aslam, pediatrics doctor!

As for us ... naghme, shikwe, kisse, baatein leke yaadein bana lenge! I will miss hashrown, addicted and rakhie a lot! I really think of you as my friends!Aw, why are you behaving like we're parting ways today itself? I'm aint going anywhere and neither are you. Coz I'm determined to keep this show and BharLi on air as long as possible! 😃

Yes hasbrown behena I will miss you!

Are you feeling that way because you think your post is set off the disagreements over the issue? Don't be upset. 🤗
Sometimes we all get a little heated, and say things that upset others. But we're all sensible people (Well, except me maybe, I still see the men in white coming for me! 😆) and can work through our differences.
Please keep posting. We love sharing all ideas here. Regardless of what it may look like at the moment on this thread! 😉

Great thread Yaishu! I personally think that they'll bring in a normal kid and it's his/her relationship with Bharti that will define the rest of the serial...I think it may be a son only to show the r'ship between a mother and son (contrast to the father-daughter r'ship) and whether he rejects his mother or rather protects her (I know the kid would only be 6 - but kids nowadays are soo advanced in their thinking that it's terrifying!) and I don't know maybe show mridala's kid and bharli's as friends but complete opposites how funny would it be if they showed mridala's kid as a goody two shoes whilst bharli's is not? oh the possibilities...But defo more bharli magic for me I simply can't get enough 😛

@cheznazi ya their is possibility tht the cv could ... take the easy way out have bharti miscarry ... Recently akshara of Yeh rishta had a miscarriage ... May be the CV'S r getting ideas ... I wouldn't want tht to happen to bharti ... but if it does we will get to see how murli and bharti take it from there ... Far
More batter then the leap ...

Raakesh Paswan's interview on the launch of BAVD, he said that he went to a wedding in REAL LIFE where he saw a midget lady in conversation with her 7 or 8 year old nephew. The nephew (or some sort of a relative) then disagreed with his aunt (the midget lady) and pushed her disrespectfully because in the kids head, it did not register that although she is a small person, she is, in fact, her elder and deserves the same respect the kid gives his parents.

So, when I first heard of the 20 year old leap, I thought that Raakesh is going to show that it is Mridang's kid who is being disrespectful of Bharti (who knows, maybe even 'chotta murli' would come to defend his mother).

But, them settling now for a 7 year leap makes me wonder if he is simply going to enact that scene, that he witnessed in real life.

But what next? Based on TAM ratings the show is doing badly against other 10pm show. No biggie I am sure. Maybe storyline in the 10pm slot show on other channels right now has something zabardast happening that viewers are flocking there!

Tutu/mei mein tau hoti rahti hai! We are all different people with different opinions. Some we agree on, some we don't. But we remain, as Mridang said, a BAVD family!

I love hashy like I love Bharti. Not to worry, and always share your thoughts - gives us something to talk about!!
