There is something about simplicity. Something breathtaking about ordinariness. It is something beautiful when you come across an actor that makes ordinary seem magical. There is a connection and a character becomes real. This AT celebrates one such actor. 😊 😃 👏

Abhishek Rawat was born on the 26th of September, 1980 in Uttarakhand, India. He completed his MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Jabalpur. After a brief period of working in the marketing and sales department of a media house, he started auditioning for TV shows. After doing a few cameo roles, he bagged his first lead role as Shekhar Singh in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. He took up many different projects after that and portrayed a variety of roles; as Tanmay in Mann kee Awaaz Pratigya and as Akash in Dekha Ek Khwaab. He has also worked on two movies; Rajita Sharma's Pied Piper and Nagesh Kukunoor's Yeh Hosla. Pied Piper has been screened at many international film festivals and it won the award for best film at Delhi International Film Festival. AS

Independent, cynical, Nikumbh is akru when it comes to theater and his passion for arts. Nikumbh leads a theater group and works primarily as a director. He also writes a column for a daily. He enjoys shayari and poetry and holds deep contempt for anything that is done for commercial interests. He is a fighter and his love for theater has helped him overcome family issues, a broken relationship and other financial constraints. Nikumbh believes in big dreams and wants to fulfill all his dreams from home town, Lucknow.

Haha... Me too.

I just saw the Pied Piper trailer and I wonder why it's not getting a multiplex release in India. Seems interesting. Abhishek is hardly visible in the trailer, though. 😔
