Another lovely episode today!

1) I liked the dialogues about mirrors reflecting back the truth of your conscience when Nikumb is explaining his strategy to Azam...and the way he talks about how Yamini's eyes reflect the truth even if she herself isn't gathering the guts to speak it out despite all the chances he's given her😆

2) I loved how Nikumb opened the conversation by talking about Yamini's name and what it means...I didn't know that Yamini meant Night...and I loved the dialogues they put in around this...connecting it metaphorically to Yamini's personality...the way night/darkness hides so much inside it...so many mysteries...and the way this bit was shot juxtaposed with Nikumb wiping the mirror and Yamini's reflection showing up in the mirror...lovely!

3) Nikumb's ability to build up to a point, to build up an atmosphere shows why he's in this field of theater...it showed very clearly in this scene...the way he talked to Yamini about how much she's done as Shakuntala, how she's won his trust over...sort of priming her into bursting out with GUILT finally and all that she's kept bottled up inside her...her frustration with herself and her inability to speak up and stand up for herself...how she feels UNWORTHY of Nikumb's trust...she just let it all out in that outburst.

4) I loved how the aftermath of this outburst was handled...Nikumb just watching her intently while she vented and then finally turned away to sit...and the way he was so matter of fact about her tears..."Ok stop crying...ab ho gaya na sab kuch"😆...and then giving her philosophy about crying..."Crying helps you express yourself, you feel lighter and it improves your CREATIVITY"😆...the satisfied smile with he said it improves your creativity really made me laugh...this guy literally has theater running through his veins...connects everything to drama/stage/characters and the creativity that comes from real life emotions and experiences...

And I forgot to mention this yesterday but it's quite cute that Yamini wants FOOD when she's stressed out and upset😆...and Nikumb instantly brings a tiffin over to cheer her up...and Yamini's response to it..."Achha khana khilaayiye, muskurata hua payiye"...haha Yamini can rhyme too! Badi chhupi rustam nikli...and Nikumb's smile in response when she made that quip😆...he's definitely either rubbing off on her or this was always inside Yamini and it's coming out now😆

I loved that this bit was just treated as a VENTING moment...they didn't sit and PSYCHOANALYZE all that she had said right after that or make it uber serious...instead the tone shifted to reflect the LIGHTNESS Yamini was feeling after getting that guilt off her chest.

5) Nikumb telling her he trust her more than himself?😕😆...Thoda zyada nahin ho gaya? Or did he just say it all to encourage her and boost her morale?😆...but it was sweet how he told her he always knew she had it in her and she proved him right...

And the handshake after this...quite a nice bit today...I liked how he pulled her up and Yamini looked surprised😆...nice moment b/w them...also forgot to mention this previously but the NBT-inspired turn back moment that is their signature...they both end up going in opposite directions from the ones they want to and then realize and turn back to go the right way, crossing each other on the way😆...nicely done today...I like how natural their smiles are without being self-conscious at this point really.

6) NM was back with his narration today! Yay...loved how he narrated the ending of Nikumb's column with the girl having two mirrors in front of her, one reflecting truth, one lies...and the choice she made determined her path in life thereafter...and as NM mentioned, Yamini's personality is changing as a result of her interaction with Nikumb...even though the path will continue to be difficult for her.

7) The Yamini-Daddo scene in the end was REALLY sweet...Daddo really is a sweetheart and the best kind of confidante and morale booster Yamini could ask for...I loved how Yamini asked her why she has so much faith in her when no one else does and Daddo told her she always saw that spark in her to achieve something beyond all that her father has dreamed for her...and their "i love you" bit is so cute too.

I have to say Vinita did really well today...there was this dignity in Yamini today after the outburst that I really liked...even the ending scene with Daddo was really poignant.

Precap: Nikumb's next task...it's starting to feel like Yamini is a participant in Fear Factor, no?😕😆...Understood that Nikumb wants to test her ability to handle sudden changes in situations but even then...poor Yamini😆

I haven't read everything yet. I just want to say, regarding the precap, I think perhaps what Nikumbh wants her to do is refuse and stand her ground.

LOL I skipped the Raghu scenes in some ways honestly...his paranoid father act gets on my nerves.

Oh the version of Baawre they played today was slightly different from the usual, wasn't it? I loved it! I don't really have the mp3s yet but I can try ripping them and see if I can post them :-)

He wants her to be able to DEAL...and adapt to unexpected situations...he says as much to her in the precap also before the meat is produced in front of her...that she needs to learn to adapt to ever changing, possibly extreme situations like Shakuntala did and learn to wiggle her way out of tight spots...not by just giving in or AVOIDING but by CONFRONTING or taking a stand.

ohhh i just loved todays epi i loved yesterdays too but didn;t got time to comment
ur post is brilliant i always felt like watching epi again after reading ur post 😳 finnally Yamini broke her silence its ot only her guilt but also her bottled up emotions, helplessness that she can't take stand for herself specially in front of her father don't spoil the fun this Raghavendra is gets on my nerves one side he wanted her daughter to be successful in her career and on other hand he just don't let her take her own decision he can't be with her for lifetime in future she will have to face some unwanted situation why make ur chilf scared cat i felt really bad for her when she said 'koi hum pe bharosa nahi karat' poor girl

Nikumbh now knws exact strings of Yamini more like what she is and what she can be .. as a director he really knws personalities around him i like the way connect each thing with drama or theatre his character is very well written .. right now he might doing everything for Shakuntala but fact is that he started thinking abt Yamini more very subtle development in his feelings .. i like how the Nikumbh's whole perspective lookint at Yamini had taken 360 degree turn if i compare first few epi's with todaya epi so much has been changed between them but a viewer we never realised that its called flawless drama where story moving with proper pace without compromising on logic and reasoning hatts off to whole team to put forward such awesome show by the way Nikumbh had made yamini's his column's story's heroine i doubt he even realised that

P. S. i hope I trust u thing said by Nikumbh had some meaning other than just to calm her iam looking at it as he had said such a big thing so casually it mean his heart had accepted it but mind may contradict in near future

P. P. S. cell phone naa hua sabase badi afaat hui what a big issue has been created by Raghavendra seriously give ur daughter some damn break and privacy

definitely liks, I am sure he would not force a veg person eat nonveg forcibly...he wants her to learn to say NO to wrong thing even under coercion.

I can't get it right, keep opening and entering my comment in the wrong thread.
Wonderful post and analysis as always.

My favourite line that I loved was nikubh's dialogue to her that you have to work much harder to fail and you haven't worked that hard yet. Loved loved that line. I will have to remember that when one my kids is too hard on themselves for a small life's disappointment. In life you have to fail a lot before any success...super line.
