Not just Nikumbh's smile, but that scene overall. I love how there wasn't much awkwardness or that part wasn't made too much into a big deal. For Nikumbh and Yamini, especially Nikumbh, her saying that is an acknowledgement of how far along the two have come in their dynamic with each other.
They didn't try to change the subject or take back what she said or "clarify. Yamini had a slight bashful type of smile where she still had the "oops I said it" thought. But even so, she too took it as an acknowledgement.

It's little things like this which make me love the show even more. Sure they played the "Baawre" bg, but it wasn't too long. They weren't staring at each other needlessly. Within the scene they both realized what was said, acknowledged what it meant, and accepted it.

I know, right? It was just VERY beautiful!

Yamini did look away, sort of, but that slight smile after that... She attested the truth in what she said. Mostly, I loved the spontaneity with which the statement came about. And Nikumbh seemed a little taken aback. That surprised, somewhat grateful sort of smile.

And the Baawre song... I love it so much, they can play it throughout the episode, as far as I am concerned! I start smiling and humming every time they go bhatak bhatak le...baawre. Ghar mein I toh I just keep singing this song all the time, much to the irritation of my family members. 😆

Hello Love to Laugh !
i love reading your posts on ArreYaar's thread and was looking forward to have a chat with u. but looks like until now, our time never matched.
I agree with u regarding the title track...meri tho halath aisi hai woh kaano mein humesha goonjti rehti hai...just love the lyrics and melody of the title track...simple, unadulated just like the main leads themselves.and yes the moment yamini blurted out that she knew he would be there, taking care of her, watching over her from a distance...and nikumbh was stumped, then an astonished, acknowledging smile crept itz way to his face as a bit guilty conscience bit him sumwhere bcoz for a moment he actually thought he had lost her in the crowd of swarming people at bazaar , and was all nervous !

Hi! Thanks. Name's Tanisha, btw. :)

I love what you said about the title track being somewhat like the leads themselves. Simple, with both wanting being betaav to explore something different, like the narrator said. Both the versions of the title track represent their nature. Restless, reckless and dayre todne wala Nikumbh. One of the lines goes like this... kyun itni seedhi rahe, ho tera medha raasta... Goes with how Nikumbh seeks something wavy, difficult, reckless.

And the female version goes... Sab kuch haseen toh hai, phir bhi halka sa koi ghaav re... Yamini is so repressed. Dayro mein kaid... like NM says. She understands that and she seeks something that will set her free. I love that.

Hello tanisha! this is Shreya 😃. yes yes u r absolutely right with the interpretation of the song and female voice of the song actually mirrors yamini's state of mind while the male voices nikumbh's. '' Kaisa tera sheher /Dhoopon ka hai safar /La de thodi si chhaon re..
see these lines too exactly represent the girl tired of the harsh lime light always swallowing her up, often against her will, how inspite of being protected overtly by control freak, demanding father she is seeking the cool shade of solace and companionship.

and these lines
Suphi phire awaara /befikra mann banjaara
Na jaane kisko dhundta? /Kyun itni seedhi rahe
Kyu na inhe uljhaaye? /Ho tedha mera raasta

how aptly describes expressive, impulsive, wilful confident of his talent and determined nikumbh...who hates one dimentional thoughts about life's destinationn and is adamant to write his own destiny differently...how promising and captivating character he is, naa, how effortlessly he motivates his flock, how imperceptibly he is changing yamini's perception about bahari duniya and even about herself and slipping into the role of being her Mentor !

Yeah, with the first line almost meant to egg them on... Bhatak le baare... chal jahaan chale mann ke paav re. The song has been beautifully sung too. I don't usually fall for title tracks, but I love this one.

yes and this is perhaps the first time i found both the male and female version sung equally beautiful and by seasoned singers...often it is either male or female ( depends upon the male/female centricity of the show ) version which grabs all the attention with their composition and mellifluous voice singing, while the other poor replica often made hideous by amateur shrill voiced singers ... trust me, i have such experiences too that i had to push the mute button to avoid a certain shrill female version of title track😆

Shreya, I am not saying anything because I have nothing to add.😆 Especially regarding the lyrics. I'm not a Hindi speaker so much of the meaning of the song doesn't register for me while watching. I've read the translation provided in the Help Desk, but even still.
But go ahead, I'm not stopping you guys from discussing. 😛
