Actually, I'm okay with it if it's never revealed (not saying that it won't be ever revealed to him, but if it never is, I'm okay). Some things in life may never be clarified and things will go on and not everything will be cleared.
My issue was that I thought it didn't make sense that Nikumbh hadn't put it together, because if the news had reported what happened exactly as it had happened then imo something should have clicked in his mind. But he read an article of Neha Tripathi's which probably described what happened in a different manner.
