| A recent survey reveals that 90% of TV viewers want a change from the saas bahu serials to fast, racy serials which have a definite end. It's therefore time for a change. We called up some telly stars to know whether they too felt the same. Read on for their reactions. Do you think that the time has come to end this rona-dhona on television and do more meaningful shows?
Amit Verma- It will be wrong to say that we need to end this rona- dhona on screen. India is an emotional country so emotions play a vital role. We need to have variation in the shows. I may like to watch Sarabhai… but my mother likes to watch Kyunki… It's just that we need to strike a proper balance between everything. Shows like Ramayan are coming back and also clicking with the audience. This proves that we need to have rona dhona also. |
