Prativindhya s descendants

I don't think prativindhya was married(even though older than abhimanyu)and even if so then there should have been mention of his wife and if not her then his son and also he should have been king as he was the real grandson of emperor and empress but it was not so.Therefore I would like to believe that he was not married which is not unusual considering Pandavas and krishnaji also married late
