Duryodhan , Shakuni n other warriors of Kuru Sena tries to divert Arjun’s chariot away from Bheeshm’s .. they tried to avoid Bheeshm’s co fro ration with Arjun n Shikhandi ..but no one could interfere with destiny ..

Krishn manages to manages to coNfront Bheeshm’s chariot , the inevitable war between Arjun, Shikhandi with Bheeshm results in Bheeshm getting shot with millions of Arrows from Arjun n Shikhandi . He finally falls on a bed of arrows .

Each n every body present in Kurukshetra is overwhelmed with emotions .

Bheeshm’s head is hanging n he asks Arjun to create a head rest for him . Arjun shoots with his Gaandeev and prepares a pillow of arrows to rest his head . Bheeshm then asks for water ... Arjun shoots an arrow n Ganga sprouts from the earth n quenches his thirst . Ganga Devi also arrives n shares her son’s pain n grief . She asks him to come with her , but Bheeshm’s promise to restore Hastinapur it’s rightful king was not yet fulfilled so he had to wait until then .

Dronacharya, Kripacharya, Pandavas, Shalya , Shakuni, Drupad, Drishtadyumna, all pay their reverence to the injured Bheeshm .. Shikhandi smirks n walks away .

Krishn also pays respect .
Ganga sits by her son n shares his pain. Every one is teary eyed as they are asked to leave by Bheeshm as he requests for ekanth..

The entire Kurukshetra battlefield is deserted at night n Bheeshm lies all alone on his bed of arrows . At night Arjun comes n weeps near him. Bheeshm is proud of Arjun, but Arjun feels he was coward as he fired his Gandeev from behind Shikhandi, he weeps n regrets he didnt behave like Kshatriya.

Arjun refuses to have victory at this u bearable price . Bheeshm consoles his beloved Arjun n blesses him with Ayushmann Bhava, vijayi Bhava .

Arjuna picks up Bheeshm’s head gear/crown /helmet, hugs it fondly ,, touches his feet n leaves .. Bheeshm smiles looking at Arjun carrying his helmet .

At Hastinapur Vidur, his wife and Kunti share their grief at Bheeshm’s grievous injuries n impending death.
Kunti then shares her grief with Dhritarashtra n Gandhari. Dhritarashtra laments that Bheeshm’s body was lying on gandeev’s arrows . Duryodhan comes to Dronacharya n nominates him the next Pradhan Senanayak . He does not promise he will attack or not attack Pandavas , he was not Kuru Vanshi, so his intentions were it same as Kauravas n Bheeshm , his allegiance was only to Hastinapur . But he welcomes Karn to the battlefield n into the Kuru Sena
Karn then comes to battlefield and pays his respects to Bheeshm, Bheeshm blesses Kuntiputra Karn. Karn is is shocked that Bheeshm knew who he was yet stopped him from fighting .Bheeshm gives his reasons and Karn gets overwhelmed with emotions as he gets to know Bheeshm’s side of the story.

At night the wives of Pandavas n uppandavas come to pay their respects to Bheeshm pitamah . Bheeshm bkessses Draupadi with akhanda saubhagyavati Bhava. He asks her Do forget what ever happened in the recent past . She will always be kown for women’s samman n Garima .

Arjun Putra Abhimanyu‘S wife Pregnant Uttar comes to pay her respects . He laments this was hardly a place to meet kulvadhu first time n he had no gift to give her. All women pay their respects to Bheeshm . He tells them how he did his duty by taking the arrows and Arjun did his duty by shooting him with arrows .
the women are teary eyed.
At Kuru shivir Duryodhan plots how to capture Yudhisthir. Duryodhan could not step back now. He tells Dronacharya that if he got Yudhisthir captured N handed over to Kuru Sena he would call off the battle. Dronacharya agree to go with Duryodhan’s plan.
Dhristyadumna gets this news from his spies. Pandavas has urgent meeting . Krishn advises to increase Yudhishthira’s security n support him at battle .
from Heavens Shantanu pays his respects to Bheeshm. Bheeshm speaks proudly of Pandavas. Shantanu is proud of Bheeshm. And he seeks forgiveness for loving Satyavati more than Hastinapur . Dhritarashtra n Duryodhan were the result of his selfishness . Shantanu seeks forgiveness from his Matribhimi Hastinapur .He asks Bheeshm to accompany him to heavens, but Bheeshm declines as his duty was not yet over .
dronacharya then comes n pays his respects to Bheeshm for the last time as he wanted to attain veergati before Bheeshm .
