Well if you didn't understand it,no need because that sharpen affect also looks good on the faces.😛 I just do the above thing to maintain the smoothness of face. 😆

Oh..that maybe the reason you were not understanding it...😆 well,

Use black brush (soft one, preferably) to remove parts which don't want to show up. Try it once and you'll get what I was saying. 😛

umm..remove the parts which you don't want to show up. When I apply the action, I use soft black brush over faces so that only face from the original layer shows up.

For example,

I have duplicated the layer and put the blending mode of first layer to lighten...It turns out like this..Now, I want to remove only the light of face...so I use layer mask with soft black brush over only the face.I then reduced the opacity of the brush and used on the saree also. And,the result I get is :


The black color on the layer mask shows where i used brush with 100 % opacity. There,that area is restored completely from the first layer and the greyish area on the layer mask indicated that i used brush with reduced opacity to reduce that light on saree. 😛

@ Naz I agree they ruin eyes but you can duplicate the layer and erase the eye part and change blending mode. It stays perfect.😳

But even the faces look like animated and not natural. That's why I prefer the Sharpen action without Topaz. My opinion only.😳😆
