Hey there..I just wanted to know... if we can make banners on anything else... coz I know my system cannot take the load of a full fledged image editing software, like photshop or PSP. (I'm one of the oldies / goldies types)

can you suggest a suitable light-weight alternative to it. I want to put up a Banner for the CST forum Banner Contest.
