The first one has such a warm look to it. It looks bright and smooth. While the second one has a cold and sharp look to it. You can just feel the chills while looking at it. It's very admirable how you have used the colouring to portray the theme so perfectly! Hands down to it.

I chose to color warmly so I could relate the coloring to the actual scene, a city located in middle of huge mountains, it's from lord of the rings and the cinematography of that movie is outstanding!!!
