Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked your request. 😳

As for requesting again, I had opened my shop for a few days to everyone and am closed again. You can request when I'm open again ok?

Awe! Anyways, no issues.

On that, you have to reserve my spot in advance! 😛

She's Megan Follows, who played Anne Shirley in the television adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, another of my olden day all-time classics along with Pride and Prejudice. Did you ever read the series?

Anne of Green Gables was written in 1908, shortly before WWI, but the story takes place several years before in the mid-1800s. It's about a young orphan girl who suffers a lot of neglect during her childhood as she's shipped from one home to another. At the age of 11, she is finally adopted by the Cuthbert family, which consists of a spinster sister and brother who are in their 50s. The Cuthberts actually want to adopt a boy from the orphanage who'd be able to help them in field work, but they're given a girl by mistake, Anne. The first book follows Anne's life with the Cuthberts and how she earns their love and affection. The rest of the series basically follows her life all the way until her 50s. The 8th book is about WWI and how it affects Anne's family and children. Kind of like Harry Potter, the series starts off being light and appropriate for children, but it progressively turns darker as Anne enters adulthood and experiences a world that is threatened by war and conflict between the governments of different countries.

The series is really good. It's a classic you definitely should read. There is also a movie trilogy that has been made inspired by the series, and it's also amazing. Megan Follows is the best Anne Shirley of television, like Jennifer Ehle with Elizabeth Bennet, and Jonathan Crombie is the best Gilbert Blythe (Anne's love interest/husband). However, the trilogy did not do as much justice to the books that BBC did to P&P. The first movie was amazing and can be compared to the first HP movie in terms of accuracy to the book. The 2nd one was 40-50% accurate but still retained some of the magic of the series. However, the 3rd movie was horrible. It had the same actors, but it completely changed the story and killed off characters that never existed or died in the series. In the 8th book, it's Anne's sons that fight in WWI since Gilbert was too old to fight by then, but in the movie it's Gilbert who goes off to fight, completely changing the timeline of the series.

Lol, I didn't keep it brief as you asked, but I got excited. 😆 I hope you give the series a chance. You should definitely read all 8 books when you can. They're not at all big and are an easy read.
