I know this is not related to PS or anything, but still can someone PLEASE help me??

I have been using Chrome since years, yesterday I accidentally uninstalled it. I downloaded it again, installed it & opened Chrome, but after that no matter what site I open it says 'Unable to access network' & after clicking on MORE, this > 'Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network.

This may be because your firewall or antivirus software wrongly thinks Google Chromeis an intruder on your computer and is blocking it from connecting to the Internet.

Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.

If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

Error code: ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED'. My net connection is fine, other browsers are working as well, it's only Chrome that's not. I have tried literally everything but nothing seems to work.

I uninstalled my anti-virus & also put Chrome in the exception list in the firewall. Even removed it & again added, but nothing seems to work. I downloaded it innumerable times & uninstalled too.

Please help me.

try this

1. Click on Start.
2. Click on Settings and Control Panel.
3. Click on Firewall and then select Settings.
4. Click on Program Permissions.
5. Click Google Chrome and on the Delete button.
6. Click the Add button.
7. Browse for the Google Chrome.exe file (User folder ' App Data ' Local ' Google ' Chrome ' Application).

1. Exit Google Chrome completely.
2. Go to the Start menu > Run.
3. Enter one of the following directories in the text field, then press OK.
4. Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Windows Vista/ Windows 7: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
5. Locate the folder called "Default" in the directory window that opens and rename it as "Backup default."
6. Try opening Google Chrome again. A new "Default" folder is automatically created as you start using the browser.

You should also make sure to make an exception in your anti virus and anti spyware for Google Chrome in case they block your browser from connecting the Internet. Make sure you have access to the internet by checking that Internet Explorer can access the Internet. Maybe you should also try Combo Fix, and to follow religiously everything they will let you know. It is safe, but some programs are incompatible with it so it will ask you to disable them. Make sure to do it.
