friends..
today we will make non-animated avi's.
first of all u need psp ...if, u don't have,then download from here for free đ
Avatar Tutorial
step 1:
Open Paint Shop Pro.
step 2:
Go to File > New. Make your settings match these:
width: 80 pixels
height: 80 pixels
background color: transparent
step3:
Select the Flood Fill Toolu can choose ur own colours for the fill from right side boxes.
step 4:
and fill in the image.
step 5:
Go to the Effects menu and use some effects to make the background cooler.
step 6:
Find a picture that you would like to use on your avatar.(i am gonna use this pic)
step 7:
Leave the avatar image open. Open the new image in Paint Shop Pro.
step 8:
Go to Edit > Select All.
(ur image will look like this)
step 9:
Go to Edit > Copy.
step 10:
step 11:
Go to Edit > Paste > As New Layer.
step 12:
Position the image using the Mover Tool
STEP 13:
If your image covers the avatar background, it is not transparent. To fix it, select the Magic Wand Tool
STEP 14:
Hold down Shift and click on the areas that you would like to get rid of.
OR U CAN USE THE FREE HAND TOOL..
STEP 15;
Go to Edit > Clear.
STEP 16:
. Go to Layers > New Raster Layer. Click OK.
STEP 17:
Select the Text Toolhttp://img234.imageshack.us/img234/4844/psp9text4am.gif Click on your avatar.
STEP 18:
Type your avatar text in the box and choose your font, size, and colours. Click OK.
STEP 19:
Position the text using the Mover Tool.
STEP 20:
Add a border or other effects.
STEP 21:
Repeat steps 2 - 19 for your signature, but make the width of the image 200 pixels.
