yaar ive been trying these links ...and actually the problem is both my images open in the same document ...which ever image i open it is not shown in the layer palette instead it becomes just the background image and images being in the same document i cant drag/drop it...

i dint get your question😕
what do u mean by both images open in same document??
and when u open a image it will be background image by default...

like this check this image ...ive opened two images but both are in same documents and the secong image isnt shown in layer palette

that's obvies they will open seperatly!!!!
i will tell u step by step...
after u opend like above
what u will do is
open a new document(empty one)
and select the picture's u want to blend ...copy and paste them in the new document!!!!
when u copy n paste they will obviously pasted as new layers😊
if u have any doubt plz ask me
