how to make text like this

1) Create a new document and type the text you want

2) duplicate the text layer and right click on it and rastrife the type layer and turn off the visibility of the original layer original layer just for safety and if you want to change anything you d't have to type it again

3) now Download this PSD http://paritha.deviantart.com/art/Dotted-layres-271135801

copy the first layer for light dotted effect and second for loud effect i used second for better visibility and paste it in ur document

4) select that pasted dotted layer and right click on it and select create clipping mask or just press ctrl+Alt+G

5) now add a new duplicate layer in the animation panel and duplicate the dotted layer and again change that to Clipping mask or press Ctrl+Alt+G and just move the dotted layer little bit up // down or transform it as you wish but make sure that total text is covered with dots after ur transformation

6)now click on first frame and turn off the visibility of duplicated dotted layer and click on the second frame in animation panel and turn off the visibility of the original dotted layer

7) Now select both the frames in animation panel and turn off the visibility of background layer for transparent look for drop shadow effect we can not apply it directly so just duplicate the rastrized text layer and make sure that color of the text is black if not color it with black now go to Filter->Blurr->Gaussian Blurr and keep the radius as 1.5 You can change it as you like but i feel 1.5 is good one

8)just play the effect if you feel that it is too fast select both frames and click on them and select 0.2 sec that will give you slow and good animation effect

9)Play it once again and save for web & Devises
