how to glittet a gif tutorial

How to Glitter A .Gif:)

Here's a quicky lesson on
how to glitter a .gif.
Hopefully you have a solid color area you wish to glitter
like the crown of this froggie:)

1. Open the Gif in Animation Shop.
2. Copy and Paste each frame into PSP.
3. Open your glitter in Animation Shop.

Oh yeah, Susan??? yup.....this is gonna go
on the web! ::grins::
4. Copy and Paste each frame of the glitter into PSP.

i'ma lucky girl! both my gif and glitter have three frames! woohooo!!
a note here...if your gif has say....5 frames...just repeat frames 1 and 2 in
the 4th and 5th frame of the gif... it's all good:)
5. Click on your magic wand tool .
6. View>Zoom in by 5 on frame 1 of your gif.
7. Holding down the Shift Key on your keyboard, click
in each area of the crown that you wish to fill.

8. YES!!! Marching ants! ROFL, now change your
color pallet to pattern with the first
frame of your glitter as the fill.

9. Layers>New Raster Layer.
10. Click on your flood fill tool and click
inside any of the selected areas to flood fill.
11. Selections>Select None.
12. Layers>Merge>Merge VISABLE.
13. File>Save Name it frog1 and save in .psp format.
14. Repeat steps 5 thru 13 with the other two frames
naming them frog2 and frog 3 respectively..
REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR GLITTER FILL PATTERN
FOR EACH FRAME:)
Once you have all your frames saved go back to
Animation Shop and Click on the Animation
Wizard button.
Follow the instructions,
When it asks "How long do you want each frame displayed?"
I put in 60, cuz i didn't want froggie tipping his hat too fast...LOL
loading images
frog1.psp
frog2.psp
and
frog3.psp
click next till you hit finish:)
and TA=Da! you done it again!
woooohooooo!!!

(ya know, i think i needed a busier glitter.....
i might try that next time:)
