ok the thing is actually windows movie maker not the player,and the way to mute the audio of clips which you don't want is:

1.Add the clip to timeline.

2.See the audio part right'click only on the audio of the clip which you don't want,and press mute.Your done!

@ kawal_tak : Hey, i think sushmita gave it all very nicely.. waise one more way is that you can select your video in the storyboard .then see where timeline/storyboard (whichever is selected) written; when you click on this a drop menu comes. Here select "audio levels". here's you can set "audio from video " if you want audio or you can select the other side if you want no audio. you can even select some other audio or song to play in your without audio video too usin this..hope this helped..😳..sry for being so bad at explaining!..you can pm me if you need further help :)
